Lavenham is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the Babergh district, in the county of Suffolk, England. It is noted for its Guildhall, Little Hall, 15th-century church, half-timbered medieval cottages and circular walks. In the medieval period, it was among the twenty wealthiest settlements in England.[2] Today, it is a popular day-trip destination for people from across the country along with another historic wool town in the area, Long Melford.

The Lavenham Christmas Fair is on the first weekend in December starting on Friday at 5.30 pm. Festive stalls, food & drinks, fun, Father Christmas’ Grotto
Lavenham Christmas Fair is a non-profit organisation. The festive weekend’s first goal is to provide a Christmas spirit and entertainment to all Lavenham residents and visitors from the surrounding villages.
The event starts on Friday evening and continues on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be more than 80 stalls in marquees, the Guildhall and Little Hall throughout the three days, selling a unique selection of gifts, clothing, toys, stocking fillers and food and drink from some of East Anglia’s most exciting contemporary designers and innovative cooks.
You can eat and drink as you stroll around!
There will be entertainment all weekend and the children will love the mini-fairground rides, the big wheel, and Father Christmas, of course, in his grotto!
Free parking throughout the village. Free entry.
