    OLYMPIC PARK LONDON

To be honest I have found SGC Excellent all round. They currently completing works for me on our MOPAC (Met Police), QEOP (Olympic Park), Lambeth & Harrow Councils and Various London Museums. They currently provide guards to us for our Met Police Contract; these guards patrols offices, stations and police housing. We have had no issues with any of the guards provided. The team have also undertaken training for guards (theirs and others) on x-ray machines for ma-jor police building in South West London. They provide West Ham Match Day Door services at our Podium Bar and Restaurant at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (no incidents). Finally they undertake cash management services from our managed car parks where they collect cash and covertly transfer it to the bank, all managed through their auditable process. We have not had any is-sues with SGC Security Services and Paul and his team have exceptional knowledgeable in this field. As a free item, The operations team sends me all regional security updates that may impact our business delivery. Finally, SGC are really involved with our social value schemes and have been integral to the setup of the community works on Harrow Council, providing labour in their free time is a huge tick in the box.

    Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust

When the Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust was looking at engaging with a new Security provider there we a few things that were high on our agenda, Training, Partnership and Value for money.  We were unsure if this mix was achievable given the demands that the trust throws up.  From day one of appointing SGC Security Services it was apparent that we had found a partner that takes our demands and needs seriously and is willing to work with the Trust to further develop a “fit for Purpose” solution.  This has meant working in partnership to develop bespoke training for the officers and robust workable processes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Nursing Staff and our service users. The processes and training are reviewed during proper meaningful SLA meetings where both parties discuss better ways of delivering a solution for the good of all stakeholders and most importantly the wellbeing of our service users

    LEEDS CASTLE – KENT

Thank you to everyone for making last night’s Fireworks Spectacular such a great success. There is so much prepa-ration needed for these occasions but, as I saw last night, all the preparation made for a brilliant evening for all our visitors. The trauma of the day before was all but forgot-ten, as young people and their parents enjoyed a typical-ly brilliant fireworks show, and the chance to immerse themselves in everything else that was going on across the estate. Getting the cars out of Car Park 2 proved to be a challenge but our usual stalwarts were on hand to push and pull cars as necessary – they can all be identi-fied today walking around with slight stoops and looking as though they had just played in the Rugby World Cup Final! The cancellation of the event on Saturday was tragic but necessary. We will now start the process of refunding those who were unable to attend as a consequence. This is a major task but I sense that there is a great deal of sympathy among those disappointed for the way in which this was handled by Leeds Castle, as there has been more generally on social media and elsewhere. Again, thank you to everyone who played a part in mak-ing last night’s event such a success, including so many of our volunteers who provided so much support.

    Thank you.
