SGC Security Services’ Event Security division has been asked back again after a literally roaring success at our first outing representing the Businesses of Bury St. Edmunds.
After initial meetings SGC Security Services were pleased with the opportunity to supply both male and female stewards that had received additional training in conflict management, fire and first aid backed up by a small Security response team. During the security briefings all aspects were discussed in relation to a thorough security audit and risk assessment.
During the course of this very successful event the feedback from all that attended was extremely positive, unfortunately there was a small un-associated fire in the town centre that we had to deal with, well just read the feedback:
“Thanks ever so much to you and all your team for the fantastic service you provided Bid4Bury with at our Whitsun Fayre. I think you will probably agree that we all dealt very well with the various incidents that happened that weekend, including the fire. I want to thank you all for everything you did to ensure that the event was a safe and family friendly environment. A very special thanks to your stewards who carried the little animals out of their pens when the fire broke out in the nearby building.” – Event manager
“Could you please make Scott aware that the Police Incident Commander at the fire on Monday, Sgt Cappelman asked me to pass on his thanks and appreciation for the actions carried out by Scott and his team both once the fire was discovered but also in managing the crowd of onlookers” – Bid For Bury
On the strength of this event we have been asked to further supply not only event security in the way of Stewards but also static security guards, response security, mobile security vehicle all backed up by our ever watchful 24hr Security control centre in Harlow Essex, for the next two events.
