“Debden House is a Conference centre and camp site owned by the London Borough of Newham. SGCFM was appointed in 2013 to provide a security solution to the 50 acres of camp site that is open to the public from May to October. The camp site had several historical challenges that included an insecure perimeter that is bordered by Epping Forest and public footpaths, challenging behaviour by some of the historic regular campers and episodes of anti-social behaviour during weekend peak periods by groups of younger campers.
SGCFM has worked tirelessly in partnership with the centre management to manage the onsite behaviour, maximise revenue streams and reduce the number of refunds given to campers who had been affected by bad behaviour. The onsite team have seamlessly integrated themselves in order to support Debden House staff in both a front of house capacity and out of hour’s patrols of the campsite. The Security team have worked hard to reinforce the standard of behaviour expected from campers in order to ensure that all can benefit from the beautiful surroundings and ensure clear communication to campers as they are checking in. With all the commitment and professionalism from SGCFM management and staff, we have seen an increase in turnover and most importantly customer satisfaction.
